Submit Your Research

Depositing your work in Research Showcase @ CMU takes only a few minutes. With the exception of Ph.D. dissertations, Master’s theses, and undergraduate student work, which are mediated by the University Libraries to ensure certification, you can deposit your work yourself or have library staff do it for you. Included work should be scholarly in nature—articles, book chapters, conference papers, theses/dissertations, etc. Self-submission to Research Showcase is limited to current CMU faculty and graduate students. More detailed information regarding direct deposit of work can be found here.

Research Showcase @ CMU can manage files in the following formats: PDF, .doc, .docx, .ppt. All files are converted to PDF for display in Research Showcase @ CMU. You as the author are responsible for obtaining permission from the copyright holder if using copyrighted material, and to ensure that the version of published work is permitted to be uploaded into an institutional repository by the publisher.

To have the University Libraries deposit your work for you, if you’d like information on creating a Selected Works page, to update a previously submitted document, or if you have any other questions about Research Showcase @ CMU, please contact:
