Aggregated Cold Study Data Set - Studies 1 through 5

The data contained in the adjoining file are derived from 5 prospective viral challenge studies conducted among healthy adults (age range, 18-55): the British Cold Study (BCS, 1986-1989); the Pittsburgh Cold Study 1 (PCS1, 1993-1996); the Pittsburgh Cold Study 2 (PCS2, 1997-2001); the Pittsburgh Mind-Body Center Cold Study (PMBC, 2000-2004); and the Pittsburgh Cold Study 3 (PCS3, 2007-2011).These data are being made available as part of the Common Cold Project, a data aggregation project supported by a grant from the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH R01 AT006694-01, Social Ties and Health: Aggregating Data from Five Viral-Challenge Trials).
